Putnam Den will be closed tonight…  Come down and join us on Wednesday for our Open Mic Jam with Sly Fox.

This week at The Den:

Wednesday – Open Mic Jam
Thursday – “Dead at The Den” featuring: The Knotbeats
Friday – Backup Planet (“Pay What You Want” / 2 sets)
Saturday – North & South Dakotas w/ FolkFaces

Come join us tonight for a triple-bill featuring: The LateShift, Good Fiction and The Morning Sound.

The LateShift is a fresh alternative rock band based out of Albany, New York.

The three-piece bombastic rock band, Good Fiction hails from Albany, NY. Their lineup consists of members Patrick Grace (Vocals,Drums), Alex Wollyung (Guitar), and James Johnson (Vocals,Bass). After forming in March 2014, the three longtime friends immediately began work on writing, recording and playing shows locally. Word of mouth spread quickly due to their spastically energetic live performance, as well as a rock sound to back up the hype. After releasing their first EP in 2015, the group switched then bass player Taylor Abbitt to longtime friend James Johnson and began working on their first LP.

The Morning Sound are a two-piece Indie/Synth-pop band from Saratoga Springs, NY. Their sound is reminiscent of classic 80’s pop (such as Peter Gabriel, Tears For Fears, etc.) with a fresh, new-age Indie rock tinge. The duo are able to go from glistening pop anthems (such as Oh Yeah), to dark, and textural indie rock (in Affection), to slow, and ambient R&B (in Come Home). With their ability to cover so many different genres, The Morning Sound have started to build an ever-growing, loyal fan base.
