Formerly of Dr. Dog, Juston Stens and his Get Real Gang make their first appearance at Putnam Den tonight as a way of getting Farm Aid Weekend rocking.

Stens’ debut album, Trash or Treasure, has a timeless sound that harkens back to classic ’50s rock and roll—part surf guitar, part Elvis and Bill Haley and the Comets.  His new second album features members of Wilco, Spoon, Dr. Dog, and Apollo Sunshine.  Also in the future works for the drummer-turned- frontman is his soon to be released bio-documentary “I Lay Where I Fall.”

Late additions to the bill include 518’s own Sgt Dunbar and the Hobo Banned as show opener and new-on-the-scene act Psymon Spine as a late night extender.
