Rustic’s studio ambition has lead to collaborations with David Bowie and Tony Visconti, Clive Davis, Imogene Heap, Eric Krasno and Nigel Hall. Lead singer Dave Gutter has recently written songs that appear on a number of nationally released albums by a range of artists from Grammy nominated Tedeschi-Trucks Band to the soon-to-be-released work of Aaron Neville. The Overtones latest album, ‘Let’s Start a Cult 2’ has been on the New England based Bull Moose Music’s top 10 best selling local albums for 9 months running, since it’s release in November 2013. Their 2009 album New Way Out was the fastest selling and is the #1 best selling local album in Maine history.

Angels on the Fourth has a sound that harkens back to the alternative music scene of the 90’s. Inspired by equal parts punk, hip hop and stadium rock, the band delivers hard hitting music with infectious hooks, and aims to bring more guitar into mainstream rock and roll.

The name “Angels on the Fourth” was derived by a transcendent experience between Kane Grogan and a flying bat on the fourth floor of the haunted Adelphi Hotel in Saratoga Springs, NY.

With their energetic live performances, and debut EP “Breaking Skin” – featuring guest vocalists MaryLeigh Roohan,  and Dave Gutter of Rustic Overtones – the band is poised to make their presence one you won’t soon forget.
