Tonight (Friday) Putnam Den welcomes a triple-bill of excellent alt-country acts to the big stage.

Headlining is Girls, Guns and Glory.  For the past eight years, the rising Boston quartet has been making a name for themselves through relentless touring, the release of four critically acclaimed records, a slew of local awards — including being the Boston Music Awards first act of its genre to win Act of the Year —  and international awards (Independent Artist of the Year at the French Country Music Awards).  Now, the hard-working band is refining their focus to the roots of rock ‘n’ roll with a twist of country on their fifth album, “Good Luck,” on Lonesome Day Records.

Supporting will be the return of Sarah Borges to Saratoga. The critically-acclaimed “Queen of Country Punk” took some family time off, but is back in action now.  The timing is good,  as her song ‘I’ll Show You How’ is going to be in the series premiere of NBC’s  The Night Shift on Wednesday night.

Den regular Katy Cole unveils her new band and new sound with Last Daze as the eve’s opening act.  We know this much: it will rock.

$10 at the door.
