Saratoga’s HQ for Original Live Music and Dance

Putnam Den is located right in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, NY,  just 30 miles north of Albany.

We are one block off Broadway; right behind the Uncommon Grounds coffee shop — there is even an alley there that leads right to our door.  Across the street is the city’s public library and to our left is the famed Caroline Street entertainment district.

The Putnam Den features a full-blown live music experience, complete with a raised stage and in-house sound and lights.  The General Admission capacity of the room is 400-500 people, depending on the show.

The musical lineups at the Den include local, regional and national (touring) acts, primarily of the original variety.  The room also doubles as a dance club — with the area’s hottest DJ’s spinning —  and as a private event facility.

Among many others, the Den has hosted such luminaries as: Blues Traveler, Rusted Root, Ryan Montbleau, the Figgs, Donna the Buffalo, Melvin Seals & JGB,  Zach Deputy, Max Creek, Paranoid Social Club, Rustic Overtones, Robert DeLong, Peter Prince & Moon Boot Lover, Assembly of Dust, Luciano  and Deer Tick, not to mention Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductees Bernie Worrell (Parliament Funkadelic) and Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead).
